VV - Cosy Studio in City Centre | Pool

Good location room. Positive: Location was good. Room was adequate for what we needed. Negative: Was asked to pay outside of Booking as my credit card had expired. Updated it on Booking but still did not work apparently. Got charged £275 instead of £267. Only 1 bath towel there when we got there although the host did arrange for another to be dropped off. The door code they gave to enter the room did not work. Messaged host and got no reply however the cleaner turned up with the towel and gave us a number that worked. No hot water on day one as was turned off. Was asked to turn it on ourselves. Was told prior to coming that pool towels are not supplied so needed to bring our own. Bit difficult when just on hand luggage.

Time to Remember times in Gibraltar Positive: Once I arrived at the property, residents helped me get in and get to my room (due to me having a broken shoulder!) Initially I had a problem 'understanding' the electronic door lock, but Vista Ventures were able to sort out via WhatsApp and they were very patient with an "old man" and technology. After initial difficulties were overcome, the apartment is great value in a great location for a short to medium break in Gibraltar. Negative: Me being a technophobe.

Positive: Location and was quiet Negative: No tea towels, not enough hot water for 2 showers

Positive: It's in a great location. An easy walk to the Main Street and Casemates square, and a bit further to Ocean Village. The studio apartment provided what we needed for a 3 night stay. There is a supermarket by Casemates Square and numerous places to eat. There is a bus to the airport from the bus station next to Casemates Square. And if you're interested in a 'taxi tour' of the nature reserve and sites on the rock,especially good for those who cant walk too far,, Gibraltar Taxi Association are good value and have a sales and starting point in Casemates Square. Negative: The apartment was a bit complicated with a security gate and only one key fob for getting in so you need to coordinate if you're going out and coming back separately. The TV was confusing, it has cable tv but also lots of apps that don't work, and 2 remotes. The host responded quickly when we asked for help though. And the shower is impressive but used up all the hot water really quickly when on full flow, so turn it down to minimum flow for a longer warm shower.

Positive: Comfortable bed, cosy studio for basic meals (no oven), near to main square. Very bright and well decorated, fabulous shower and bonus coffee maker with coffee pods Negative: Windows let noise in and road could be noisy with the occasional loud motorbike. Earplugs sorted that out however. Pool was shut since November for I guess the winter despite Booking.com amenities stating pool was open all year round and we applied for pool passes by providing copies of our passports in advance and bringing our own pool towels as advised. But it would have been too cold and we were too busy so wasn't too much of a shame. Was just a bit odd to have gone through a pool access and passes process with the holiday lettings company.
